BBC TV airs segment about worms

Title: BBC TV airs segment about worms
I just learned from Jayne Nicholls that BBC aired a 5 minute piece about her worm composting activities on Sunday March 20

You may remember that Jayne negotiated a licensing agreement with me to produce and market Worm-a-way(TM) worm bins in UK. She has diligently worked to line up suppliers of the parts and pieces to make the bins and will be at the Chelsea Garden Show in May. If you are there, please visit her booth and say hello with greetings from me!

Video Diary

Jayne Nicholls is a woman passionate about composting with worms. Many of us recycle tin cans and glass bottles but what about leftover tea bags, coffee grounds, pasta, pizza or even your Sunday lunch? Jayne is doing her bit for the environment by turning household waste into 'black gold' or worm poo!

Jayne's website is: http://www.wormzrus.co.uk

BBC then links to the Royal Horticultural Society website with more information about worm composting.

Finally, to let you know that interest in vermicomposting is picking up across the pond, I have been invited to speak at Cre,  Ireland composting association's conference in Port Laois May 5-6. Seems that there is lots of interest, but little good information readily available. I'll try to remedy that situation!

Sincerely,

Mary Appelhof
