Sources for Slide Film, etc.

Lorraine -

B&H is a very good source for film, as is Adorama, both in NYC, both available on line. They are competitive with each other.

As far as converting "photos" to slides, what are you starting with? Prints, negatives, or digital files? CT Photographics right near you in Danbury is a great digital/slide lab, and they can do conversions of digital files to slides and slide duping (they do mine) though they are not the cheapest. Their work is excellent.

Imagers in Atlanta (www.imagers.com) is one of the big players for digital and slide duplication also, and probably the best price. If you want to convert prints to slides, you have a couple of routes - one is to scan them, clean them up, get the color right, & then have the file converted to a slide. Second would be to do the same to the negative. Either of those is not going to be easy or cheap. The third way would be for you (or someone with the correct lighting) to photograph the prints on slide film.

Hope this helps.
