Timeless Landscape Design sells out during initial lecture tour

Dear Forum Members, 

My first book, Timeless Landscape Design,  was released Feb 2007 and
gone in 30 days. It is back ordered by a book club for 1500 copies...I'm
delighted! However, I wanted to share this with GWA: I have lectures
committed to groups that cannot get books. 

A word to the wise, even though I did projections based on the book tour
audience and the book pre-sold 2500 before Christmas, they still will
not tell me how many they printed(vague answers of 5000-7000). My young
publicist made suggestions to get the second printing going (she has
since left G-S!). Only after the book club order came in did they order
more (which arrive late April!). Luckily I  bought in many for lecture
commitments. So what to do?

Also they "forgot" to send the last author payment (against future
royalties) after I contacted them 4 times..the 20 "free" author books
have not yet arrived either...but I am bird-dogging them with my garden
gun.

What fun!
