Al Gore of the garden?

That's how someone referred to me this weekend after hearing my talk "A
Subversive Plot" which involves a powerpoint presentation. I chose to take
it as a compliment.

The point is that powerpoint is a tool that can be used, misused, and,
unfortunately, abused. Use it to compliment your talk, not duplicate it.
Use it for pictures and short videos, not screens loaded with text. The
audiences that I'm speaking to here in New England are eating my talk up, so
to speak, and I give a lot of credit to the visuals that go with it.

To answer C.L.'s question, yes, I have a Powerlite 76c projector and am very
pleased with it.
