Pat,
One place to start is Google. Because placement on google is determined by the number of people that click on a listing, googling something as simple as "gardening" will tell you what people click on the most. For example, when I just googled "Gardening" I see that Gardeners Supply Company in Vermont is on page one.  I'm sure that there are people who, for a fee, will tell you which gardening businesses get the most traffic but the "poor man's tracker" could be Google.
