If you are a member of Garden Writers Association then they used to have a  
list somewhere on the website.  it may not be current but it should  help.  
Also the web has lists of major newspapers but that means leg work  to get to the 
site and find the right editor. Another source is  Journalismjobs.com.  Do a 
search on your state, or the one you are  interested in and look for lifestyle 
editor or reporter jobs that list the web  page. Again that takes leg work 
and a good recording system so that you do not  approach the same place multiple 
times!
