Fwd: Re: What's blooming in your garden?


I forgot I also have a half dozen specie crocus that have survived 
squirrel raids.  Years ago, Duane Campbell extolled the virtues of 
specie crocus that could be planted in lawns, and I planted several 
bulbs for white, yellow and purple-white crocus.  Squirrels have 
nailed all but a few of the white at the edge of the lawn.  Margaret Lauterbach
