Carlo,

I hope you understand that I was just having fun with Barbara and not at
your expense.  At times, I also bemoan some of the changes occurring in the
journalistic marketplace, but I also see them as mind expanding challenges.
Having two teen children, I learned to text in order to communicate with
them while they were out at their activities.  With social media, there is
only so much any of us can do.  I have a blog, and I write for
Examiner.com.  I am also on Facebook, Plurk and Twitter, along with some
other social media applications.  I consider myself a serious, garden
communicator, and I write print articles as well.  I think there is room in
my world for both, and I hope that's the case with other writers too.
