I am in contact with lijit.com about setting up the gardening network  
that Doug was proposing. If anybody else with a commercialized site is  
already working on organizing this I don't want to duplicate/replicate  
the effort and would gladly be part of your network if you would take  
me. Otherwise I am going to pursue it.

FYI, The Growing Edge print edition, as most of you have probably  
heard, is buried in the dead publication graveyard in Peoria, but I  
did pick myself up, dust myself off and have put my efforts into the  
web. I have had a web site since 1993. It, like the magazine, was  
primarily focused on hydroponics, aquaponics and greenhouses up until  
now. TGE still reports on those topics but also everything else on the  
cutting edge of gardening, farming and food. It is a garden news  
portal/news aggregator right now but original stuff will be up soon.
