Re: Anyone talking about this bill?

In the original post CL said she was wading thru the documentation and I
wondered how she, and anyone else, was getting on. I got the link and grew bug
eyed at the 'intent' sections, so it is definitely a thing to take in small
bites.
>From what the thing says though the only sector that seems to be affected is
the farm market/farm store - right?
Organic farms are already being inspected, (this probably adds another
one,but if the paperwork is there it is an inconvenience), and anyone dealing with
packaged food is subject to inspection already. note: I sold certified
organic herbs for several years, and made herb vinegars for both wholesale and
retail which meant a fully certified kitchen and inspections ad nauseam!!

So what am I missing here??? Maybe it is in the small print that I haven't
got to yet.

It will take me a week or two to get to the end,.
Have a fun weekend,
Kate

I've been getting e-mails about "new bill could outlaw organic farming."
Just about all from Ron Paul supporters (who love to e-mail us at newspapers).
Here's the the gist, below. Most of what I've read online in blogs (and their
comments) is way overwrought, in my opinion
