I got the same book yesterday - I am going to give it to the local  school 
(1st grade) where they want me to teach environmental mini-lessons to  that 
grade. As far as I could see the language included botanical words (stomata  etc) 
which the kids will not remember, but the concept they might.

Has anyone  else seen this children's book? It's apparently sent out to 
libraries and  schools in partnership with Davey Trees and American Forests. I'm 
wondering  about a suitable age group. It looks to me like Jr. High with its 
vocabulary,  kindergarten or early elementary with the cartoon characters, but I 
really  haven't a clue what kids are reading these days.
