Ninebark

I'm having a "duh!" moment.  When do you prune Physocarpus like 'Coppertina' and 'Diablo'....now or after they bloom.  My mind is frozen due to Indian Winter.  After the snow pack melt, weeks of nice weather, daffodils and crocus blooming, it's now snowing and frigidly cold!  Eight inches or more the heavy, wet slop to fall tonight.
