Re: gardenwriters Digest, Vol 86, Issue 1


Check with your local Public Works department. Here, in my community on the West Coast at least (University Place, WA), vermicomposting is being promoted and classes taught by the PWD to help keep food wastes out of landfills. Seattle even requires food waste recycling now. If your Public Works department does this (or any other local entity) they will have local sources for you.
