I've pretty much stayed with Dramm for breakers, misting nozzles and  
extensions.  When metal is an option that's my preference.  When it  comes to the 
control end I always try to get brass valves.  They can be  repaired and 
will last forever.  The plastic controls last a year, two at  most.  I think 
I've had some brass shut off valves (hose end) for a  decade.
