For small watering jobs, house plants and seed flats, there is ONE tool -- a
battery filler, shaped like a largish turkey baster, from an auto parts
store. It puts exactly the amount of water you want exactly where you want
it. For plants with large tops that make it hard to get to the pot, it goes
down through the foliage to deliver water at the soil surface. And it costs
less than five bucks.
