Round Up

A lawyer friend of ours here in Virginia is convinced that Round Up and Glyphosate/adjuvants is a liability suit waiting to happen as more and more evidence amasses regarding the health hazards it presents to both man and beast.  

As he put it in a legal warning letter to Southside Electric Company that uses Round Up to clear the ground under power lines, "I believe Southside is setting itself up for a lawsuit from affected persons suing under legal liability theory based on glyphosate poisoning. The drift of law will catch up with science eventually and Southside should not be anywhere near the cross hairs when the lawsuits. Just because APCO  (Appalachian Power Company) is doing it is no protection to SSE (Southside Electric) when that situation unfolds. ...Please forward this to your legal counsel.  As you will note from a reproduced email below, I am not singling out SSE for special attention. The glyphosate problem is being discussed with Dept. of Forestry and the Secretary of Agriculture.  I request that you acknowledge receipt of this email.  John Lane"
