I am so sorry to hear about Doreen and am inspired at her bravery. She has
been an important advocate for organic gardeners from the start, writing
wonderful articles for MEN when people like her made that publication
great. As a fellow ibiblio list owner she brought me on board to help with
GWL administrative tasks. I was honored to be able to be of use to this
incredible community of writers and to her as creator of this forum. She
was always encouraging to me as I pursued my interest in permaculture and
gardening and so much fun to exchange email with. She has always been sharp
as a tack. I will miss Doreen and will think of gardendiva whenever I am at
work in my vegetable garden and fighting the good fight online promoting
natural agriculture and good nutrition.
