Time To Resurrect This List!

Happy Spring, Garden Writers!

With all the Facebook nonsense and my lack of expertise in using it, I thought I would go back to our familiar tried and tried Garden Writers' List to communicate with us "old school" types to let you know about my new book on hydrangeas. We published at the very end of last year amidst the frigid northern temps.

The book is called Success With Hydrangeas, A Gardener's Guide. It is NOT an encyclopedic rundown of what's available in today's marketplace. That would be a futile endeavor. On the contrary, it is intended to help gardeners figure out what to do with the plants they have and/or how to choose what plants to add to their gardens.

If I recall, attachments get stripped out of messages in this forum, so the press release won't work for this communique. However, much of what's in it is repeated on my website, www.lorraineballato.com<http://www.lorraineballato.com>. There you will find a brief synopsis of the book, testimonials, how to buy, etc.

This book, along with a gift plant from the current crop of florist hydrangeas for Easter (yes, they are here!) and those that will follow for Mother's Day make a nice gift package which is how I am positioning the book in my current round of promotional activities.

Let me know if you're interested in a review copy.

Thanks and happy spring!
