FW: [NAFEX] Hand Pollination Website

This is a really neat little website for anyone who wants a short course in
breeding apples. As someone trained in this sort of thing, I think it is
very well done. There's a good article in this site.

Subject: [NAFEX] Hand Pollination Website

Dear Group,

At Ed Fackler's urging, Anna Whipkey has developed a very nice text and
photo tutorial on the basics of pollen collection and hand pollination of
apples. It may be seen at
http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/maia/pollination.html. The small photos
may be double clicked to enlarge them to show fine details. If you have any
difficulty getting to the site, and I did initially for obscure reasons, go
to the MAIA (Midwest Apple Improvement Association) web page and on the left
side you will find an index which includes "Pollination Techniques" which
may be clicked to also get you to this page.

                                   Regards, Ethan
