I use 35mm film because I use my photos in presentations and to illustrate 
columns or articles that I write. 

Most of the places where I give speeches don't have PowerPoint projectors or 
computer-aided projection, so the good old carousel is what seems to work 
best.

You can usually get decent prints from slides, if needed. Or prints can be 
scanned in and sent electronically. I think it would be great to have a 
scanner for slides, but again, that's pretty expensive.
