that's what make "html" email format so "dangerous" - its just like looking
at a web page and you are seeing images on the web page come from a
server...

That's the first I knew of an e-mail being able to get something from a
server without causing the web browser to open.  I have to admit this one
didn't LOOK like it was connecting somewhere else, but I'm not that computer
savvy.
