I'm trying to convince the state nursery and landscape association to put me on the program to speak at the annual converence in January....they like the three topics I've suggested, I have the testimonials, but I don't know what to tell them my fee is. It's held at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Hundreds of people attend this three-day conference, which also has a trade show. It's your standard professional trade conference, but the organization itself is fairly small.
I was thinking $500 for one program, $750 for two and $1,000 for three. I have not spoken to a professional group like this before, however, I speak regularly to other green-related groups, including statewide and regional Master Gardener seminars.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
