Just curious

My car is incapable of driving past a garden center, especially in spring. And anyway, I like to keep an eye on what the garden market is doing.

This year I have noticed a serious lack of summer bulbs. You know, dahlias, tuberous begonias, cannas and such. The big box stores have almost none, when is prior years they were featured in front. Is it just because I don't get out much, or have others noticed this?
