Re: Sales of climbers


Sorry I can't really help you Graham. I would be interested in learning 
about the results especially as they deal with comparing increased/decreased 
sales and the increase/decrease in actual cultivars purchased. For example 
we carry quite a few different climbers. Our sales are increasing but those 
sales show that only 2 or 3 of the climbers are actually increasing in 
volume (phenomenally) whilst the others are decreasing. We try to "market" 
them equally in the nursery but obviously we're not reaching the general 
public. There is nothing wrong with the nursery queens but they have clearly 
not the won the favour of the consumer- even though they are all ARS 
winners.
