Some of you may remember that when GF bought Burpee many years ago, it was  
to some extent because they thought Burpee would give Scott, then owned by GF, 
a  new entry with another product for retailers. I was with Burpee at that 
time,  and while I had previously recognized that Scott was a hard supplier to 
get  along with, that time at Burpee reinforced my feelings about Scott.

Of course, things didn't get too much better when GF sold the Burpee  Company 
to ITT, and after a couple of years of that management, I left and went  to 
Bodger.
