Re: Polymers- jello


Hi all,
Somebody mentioned the starch based polymers.  The brand I use is  
ZEBA.  www.zeba.com/ It breaks down in a season as far as I can tell,  
but as I don't reuse container mix that's fine.  I dump my containers  
in the garden and didn't like the slime or potential toxicity of other  
products.
When I did use Soil Moist it worked admirably.  Watering went from  
daily or 2xdaily to a once every 3 days job.
Polyacrylamide is what's in disposable diapers.  We are certainly  
filling the landfills with those.
