the home depot thing


Several people have mentioned that you don't buy in home depot.  At eh  
Chicago meeting though there was a discussion on Home Depot's plans to become a  
target nursery.  
 
In Georgia, where they started, they opened a select number of landscape  
nurseries. These had great selections of shrubs (not perennials) and very  
knowledgeable people.  They were worth traveling too.  Alas I heard  that they were 
abandoning the idea and closing these sites.
