 OK, I'm officially jealous. Alaska is the most lusted-after of the four states I've yet to cross off my life list. How do I get a speaking gig up there?

Leaving Anchorage in a few hours. What a place! The weather is terrific, the 
mountains almost within touch, and brimming over with gardeners. With long sunny 
days and Lowenfels impeccable organic gardening information they can hardly wait 
to start digging and throwing dirt. It's time to plant a vegetable garden from 
the farthest north southwards and cross country.s

spectacular weather and managed to calm the volcano down, as well! She
