Re: copying websites: gardenwriters Digest, Vol 76, Issue 16

The javascript code they give you has to be inserted before the </body>
 (close body tag) on your html. So in Penolope's case - here's the code for
her website found at the bottom of the page

Penelope O'Sullivan &nbsp;&nbsp; P.O. Box 353 &nbsp;&nbsp; Stratham, NH
&nbsp;03885 <br>

        Email: <u>penny@penelopeosullivan.com</u> </font> </td>

    </tr>

</table>

  <p class="copyright">copyright &copy;2002-2007 <b>penelope o'sullivan</b>.
all

    rights reserved. | <a href="http://www.drummer361.com/websites&quot;
target="_blank">drummer361

    designs</a></p>

</center>

</body>

</html>

The javascript code would be inserted somewhere before the </body> tag on
the bottom of your html code for *every* page you want to keep track of.

In the case of a wordpress blog (I can't speak to others) there's usually a
page.php page template file with that </body> code on the bottom and the
javascript is inserted right before this. If you're running a footer css
code for your websites, you can insert the code there. If that's all Greek
to you :-) - then you're going to have to talk to your web-person. You've
just hit the limit of my html coding knowledge.

And for the record, within 24 hours of installation, I had several dozen
images copied (mind you I have thousands uploaded) and 2 inbound links from
those images. I'm not even going to count the number of times somebody has
copied pages (likely to send to friends or shoppping lists) but we'll see.
I have been chatting with the development team about future improvements so
I'm pretty optimistic this is going to be a very valuable tool for content
providers.

And thanks for those who took the time to thank me offline for sharing this
resource.
