site tracking software
I'm not sure how many of you installed this software - (tynt.com) I"ve been
checking it regularly every morning for the last few days and thought I'd
pass along some interesting findings. There's a heck of a lot of copying
going on - 2) I'm not overly worried about it anymore. The vast majority
of people seem to be copying pictures, inserting them into emails (and
presumably sending them to friends), and the friends are coming to my sites
via the picture or copied text. I've only received one report of a website
using the stuff- went there and couldn't find it. And then it disappeared
from the report so perhaps it came down. ;-) The stuff they're copying is
downright strange - from header pics to my pic to graphics along with a few
other good pics and plant lists (the bulk of pages being copied are plant
lists - I assume so they can take them to garden centers).
I have no doubt that some of the pics will wind up on somebody's website -
link code stripped out - or served right from my own site but for the most
part, my readers seem to be sending them to each other. Pretty cool
actually.
