I'm very sorry to hear about your health problems, Doreen. Some other list
members have given you advice to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice
recognition software. 

I have been using this for a couple of months now because of a bad case of
repetitive strain injury, and it works quite well. My only advice getting
started is that it can be tricky to install, so it's a good idea to get a
computer professional to install it for you because it might involve some
troubleshooting.  There is a nice video introduction to this program here:

Dragon NaturallySpeaking does require a relatively late model computer to
