The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is making it easier to find
chemical information online. EPA is releasing a database, called ToxRefDB,
which allows scientists and the interested public to search and download
thousands of toxicity testing results on hundreds of chemicals. ToxRefDB
captures 30 years and $2 billion of testing results.

Hi all,

   A couple of weeks ago Jeff Lowenfels posted some interesting notes about
some lawn and garden products that were disturbingly interesting. Jeff,
would you share with us all your source for that info? I was on our county's
weed district webpages and it talks about side-effects on other crops, but
not a whisper about environmental or health issues. I'd like to offer a
balance to their agricultural focus.
