I have resisted the urge to broadcast the board's decision to create a
committee on my proposed sustainability initiative for GWA pending having
that committee formed.  But with your posting, Jo Ellen, I feel that I
should offer to hear from anyone off list who might be interested in serving
on that committee.  Please let me know if you have a desire to serve with a
group of like-minded people wanting to plumb the murky waters of making an
organizational statement on sustainability.  Phone operators are standing
by...

At the last board meeting, we voted to create a committee to study GWA and
sustainability, which would include sponsorships as well as use of office
paper, kinds of tableware, glasses, what the hotel does regarding recycling,
etc.

Kirk Brown is head of the sustainability committee.
