Re: Looking for needle in a haystack

Hi everyone. At the request of a friend, I'm looking for a needle in a
haystack.

She bought a pale pink semi-thornless, faintly scented, pale pink climbing
rose, with flowers 5-6 in a cluster, over 10 years ago from White Flower
Farm. To me, in a photograph the flower looks very much like Bonica in
color and form. You know what's coming! Right! She lost the name of the rose.

Do any of you have an old White Flower Farm catalog from 10-15 years ago?
And if you do, would you be so kind as to take a look and see if you can
come up with something that might be the likely candidate? WFF has been
absolutely unhelpful, and ARS hasn't been helpful either, so you all are the
last chance we have of identifying this rose. If all else fails, I'm going
to suggest that she take a cutting and propagate it that way instead of
trying to buy another one.

Thanks a bunch,

Lina Burton
