Re: traffic drops on websites
I find that my topic is what drives traffic to my weekly blog on The Old
Farmer's Almanac website. End of March, up to April 20th or so, traffic was
slower than normal. The highest numbers come in May and June (veggies,
container plants, etc.) and the winter depths of Jan. and Feb., when readers
can't get enough of new plants coming to market and weird stuff like
heart-shaped cucumbers and blue-dyed orchids.
To me, the March-April dip is normal. I suppose I could post pix of naked
gardeners or something next April Fools Day to reverse the annual trend.
Might try it!
