Re: natural weed control
Hi Catriona,
I've been using Burnout weed killer with great success. Its active ingredients are citric acid and clove oil. The timing of an application is important—it must be applied on a dry, warm day. Young weeds will be gone with one dose. More mature, well-rooted, weeds will need a second application.
I really like the fragrance too, it's like a potpourri for the yard.
I've been interested in trying the burning method with a propane torch, However, I haven't made the investment in the equipment. Does anyone here have experience with flame weeding?
Best,
Phyllis
