Hi Doug,

I know you aren't a fan of Blogger, but there you just check which
mobile-responsive template you want to use and your blog or website displays
according to which device is accessing it. I don't have to change anything.
In my case, I have a lot of customization that doesn't render in the mobile
template, that's not an issue for me.

One of the things that hasn't been mentioned here is the latest Google
change. If your site isn't mobile friendly, then you're being penalized now
with traffic drops.

Go here  https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/  Enter
your site address.  See what the test says.

If you fail, you have to get a mobile ready site because your traffic is
dropping (or about to)

FYI - only a few years ago, my mobile traffic was 5% and now it's over 50%
so having a mobile ready website/blog is necessary.

If your wordpress theme isn't mobile friendly, install the plugin WPtouch.
This is a quick fix while you search out a fully responsive theme.
