Last summer I picked up some pots of sample clematis. One has just started to bloom. It is a Very Very Deep Purple with the center of the plant, stamens and all, also purple. Really striking. It came up early this spring here in Chicago and seems like a real winner. Does anybody know what it is?
One of the 3 plants I came home with didn't have a label to start with. The other labels seem to have disappeared.
Thanks to anybody with an idea.
Carolyn Ulrich
