Glyphosate

I realize my views are not common here, even not popular among the anti-chemical ( which might be called anti-science in global warming context) majority here, but I have been following the glyphosate “controversy” for decades, the 2,4-D matter even longer. Every year or so someone discovers a study that will blow up the use of these chemicals. Not too long ago there was a study from a pay-to-publish site. Now this mercola website, which in an earlier pre-Internet century would be a stall at a county fair selling laudanum as a cure-all. Meanwhile dozens, scores, even hundreds of studies have shown these chemicals to be essentially safe. Enough already. But I am old enough to realize – well, I am old enough to realize many things – but one is that people will believe anything that supports what they want to believe regardless of the questionable source. So I await the next “bombshell.”
