Now this is an interesting point, Graham.  I agree that for a list of 
monthly jobs, that seems a bit odd, but whenI write about plants, I 
always include resources such as nurseries that sell the plant (local 
and mail order), good reference materials (books and websites), etc. 
I do it  so that readers can find the plants or products I am 
discussing and so that they have places to learn more than I can 
cover in a column.  Some of those resources are ones I have consulted 
for the article, others are not.

Would you find that offensive?
