We have considered a holiday catalog but haven't gotten that far...

We do have a wildflower mix called Insecta-Flora that is mainly
wildflowers that attracts and feeds many beneficial insects and looks
great. We offer it in low growing, tall growing and standard (1 foot, 3
foot tall and range of heights) versions.
Beneficial Blend is a coarser growing mix that is cheaper and also
provides habitat for beneficial insects.

We have plans for barn owl nesting boxes and bat house building manuals
for the handyperson/crafty folk to enhance the habitat for owls that eat
a lot of gophers and bats that eat a lot of night flying insects
(mosquitos, codling moth, etc.).

We have magnifying lenses (or Worlds Best Bug Viewer for small persons)
that let you get up close and personal with insects. Our D-Vac insect
vacuum lets you collect and examine lots of insects - from the minute to
very large.

Orchard mason bees are docile, can sting but rarely do, and pollinate
garden and orchard crops. You can set up a shipment for the spring and
give a gift card to the lucky gardener.

There is Biological Technical Manual for studious types and "Good Bugs
for Your Garden" book by Allison Starcher for everyone else to learn
about biocontrol. Elaine Ingham's Compost Tea Manual opens up a whole
new world of plant-microbe interactions. A set of laminated insect
photos is just the thing for educators.

We also can set up a gift account so someone can pick their own
beneficials from our catalog.
