There is one, entitled "Plant Names Simplified" by A.T. Johnson and H.A. Smith, but it gives British pronunciations, and they sometimes vary from American English. Also, the pronunciations seem to be only the first words in a botanical name, not the subsequent words. How does one pronounce "officinalis," for instance? Margaret Lauterbach
This might well be a great project for the GWL, to issue some sort of fact-sheet (book?) on how to pronounce botanical names. I've been at this many years now and often I still butcher the pronunciation. I too have looked for a good guide to this and haven't found it. Just a thought.
