Re: Aconitum

I agree: Aconitums are gorgeous. I rarely see them used in PA or farther south or west. They seem to thrive in the cooler, less extreme summers of New England, but are perhaps less comfortable in the rest of the country. 
It's also possible that growers and gardeners are a bit nervous about their toxicity; every part of the plant is poisonous. But then, isn't that an advantage where deer are a problem?
