Re: Garden Thugs - 3 Biggest


Here in zone 5 Michigan (Clarkston), I would nominate:

1.    Wild Grape (Vitis spp)
2.    Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) - also in the grape family)
3.    Bishop's Weed - (Aegopodium podagraria)

I spend a good portion of my summer pulling these. If I don't keep a good watch any of these take over a bed or cover trees and bushes!

And...why does Aegopodium develop a rust like substance on it, late in the season? More reason to hate it!
