Re: how to keep your blog from being spammed


I use a plugin on my WordPress that requires people to type in a code 
to leave a comment. I have to approve it. Once a person is approved, 
I don't have to approve them any more, but he/she still had to enter 
the code.

When I first started, I got literally hundreds of spam mail a day 
from bob@gmail.com at two different ISP addresses in some kind of 
language that looked Russian or something similar. Once the plugin 
was installed, it has stopped completely.
