So many Jeff Ball stories I could write a book. I so clearly can see him sitting with Nancy Szerlag under a gazebo in a garden at GWA in Toronto. They were the buzz of the conference as we all hoped something was blossoming! 

He was a great friend and mentor -- and no one could laugh like he did.  Up until the end, he was cracking jokes and charming the hospice care takers.

A was a big man in a small world.
