Hi folks,

I haven't introduced myself here on the list yet though quite a few of you
already know me. I am an author and formerly the managing editor for Garden
Writers Today. At present I am in the process of creating the first
magazine specifically for garden communicators of all descriptions
(authors/writers/bloggers, editors, educators, speakers, photographers,
publishers, etc.) called GrowWrite!. The first issue is scheduled to be
released in January.

I am funding this out of my pocket to begin, so initial contributions to
the first issues will be paid for with ad space in the issue in which
contributor's work appears. One of my primary goals in creating this
resource is to be an example of how we as garden communicators should be
paid for our work, and as soon as ad revenue allows, contributors will be
offered the option of outright pay or ad space.

This will be a nonpartisan endeavor, not affiliated with any existing
organization or publisher in an effort to be as inclusive as possible,
embracing all areas of garden communication.

If you have any ideas or suggestions to throw my way, please do.
