Re: Linked In
I'm late to this discussion since I'm just now returning after having been out of town for an extended period and Yahoo decided to put GWL e-mails into the spam folder.
But I, too, have been surprised to all of a sudden have a bunch of endorsements on Linked In -- both from garden writers and journalists -- and I certainly didn't request any (and I wasn't able to attend the recent GWA symposium). I assumed that Linked In requested them of people I'm connected to on the site -- but I would certainly rather they didn't. I never before had a recommendation or endorsement.
I joined Linked In when I worked daily as a newspaper editor, and since I've switched to spending my time writing garden books, I find it useful for keeping up with what people I know in other parts of the country (and world) are doing.
Judy (returning after a long, long absence)
