Donna,
I suggest that you contact Jane Pepper of the Pennsylvania Horticultural
Society for some interesting regional gardens and our own GWAA regional
coordinator/planner, Linda Detrick. Also Liz Ball was instrumental in
planning the GWAA Phila.conference last year. It was my first conference and
I truly enjoyed some of the city gardens,( rooftop gardens, mosaic gardens,
medicinal gardens) for their uniqueness. Of course, Longwood Gardens is on
display at any time of the year. There are many worthy Arboretums in the
area who may also assist you.
My home is in West Chester, PA , not far from your destination.
