What I had in mind would be a list similar to the AAA ratings of 
hotel/motels and Four Star ratings of restaurants.

I assume that suppliers could apply for a rating and for aa annual fee 
have anonymous buyers purchase items which would be rated for quality, 
price, delivery time, sate of packaging, customer relations, etc.

A web site could contain the list of rated suppliers and for an annual 
fee based upon a percentage of sales volumne, they would be allowed to 
use a promotional logo with the rating rating from 1 to 5 stars.

Any such effort would have to be independent to insure its objectiveness 
and not of a self serving nature associated with trade groups which 
tolerated the Michigan Bulb Company as a member with no sanctions for 
their poor business practices.
